PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE

This final attempt with the distress inks is getting a little lighter on the colour but I still want to get more of a washed out look so I will continue to practice. I'll keep you updated on my progress and of course any feedback you can give me is greatly appreciated. I am loving doing all the flowers and "girly" stuff since I am usually scrap booking for boys!! What a treat to work with all the bling.

  9. You're doing a beautiful job with your distress coloring! Why are you wanting your colors lighter? You need some contrast to give them depth! It's such a pretty card....

  11. Hi Dawn, your distress ink cards are looking great! I'm with you on the cheerful, bright colors although I do really appreciate the softer side of the European designers. I've also fallen in love with bolder distress inkers like Chelsea or April, and a dozen others. :)

Of course, I'm still stuck on my Prismacolor pencils and only a distress ink voyeur! haha!

Thanks for entering my blog candy and spreading the word. I've really enjoyed my visit here, and definitely look forward to more!

    Cheers,
    Susan

PS: I *love* your About Me paragraph - It's a really fun read!
